Lifted my 2021 JL last spring. 2.5″ lift, 35s, new control arms. Before I touched anything I went through the factory manual for suspension geometry specs and axle torque values.

Good thing I did. The factory spec for the front trackbar bracket bolt is 130 ft-lbs. I’ve seen guys on forums say “just crank it tight.” That’s how you crack a bracket on the trail 50 miles from nowhere.

The Wrangler is one of the most modified vehicles on the planet. But mods done wrong are worse than stock. The factory manual gives you the baseline — from there you can make informed decisions.

What’s in the JL Wrangler factory manual:

  • Full Dana 44 front and rear axle specs
  • Transfer case NV241 and MP3023 service procedures
  • Suspension geometry and alignment specs
  • 3.6L Pentastar and 2.0T engine diagnostics
  • Electrical diagrams including aftermarket wiring notes
